Amy Hunter

Qualifications
MSK Health, PGDipOst

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Musculoskeletal Health and a Postgraduate Diploma in Osteopathy from the Ara Institute of Canterbury.

I grew up in the rural South Otago region and have always enjoyed playing various sports such as rugby, touch, netball and running. Through my own sporting related injuries, I developed an interest in health, exercise and rehabilitation and have a passion for helping others, specifically recovery from various musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

I am also a qualified personal trainer and believe that alongside manual therapy, exercise prescription and rehabilitation plays a fundamental role in the recovery from an injury and in maintaining optimal health. Prior to pursuing a career in Osteopathy, I was also an Enrolled Nurse and have enjoyed walking alongside others at various stages of life.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outside such as running, hiking and walking, and spending time with my friends and family.

ACC claims

We can register your ACC claim in clinic. No GP referral required.

Ask our friendly reception staff if you are unsure of your entitlements under the ACC act. Do not allow your injuries to get worse — early intervention helps you avoid prolonged pain.
