The human body has always fascinated me, and I have spent my career working in healthcare in a variety of roles. My original training was as an Intensive Care Nurse in the United Kingdom, where I specialised in Neurosciences and also worked in Cardiothoracic and Liver Intensive Care Units.
After moving to New Zealand in 2001, I worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate for a global pharmaceutical company. Following the arrival of my children, I joined St John Ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician.
These experiences have given me a broad clinical perspective and a strong foundation in patient care. I draw on this background when assessing clients with the goal of helping people manage pain, move more freely, and live more comfortably. My treatments incorporate a range of massage techniques, along with Advanced Dry Needling, tailored to each individual's needs.
Outside of work, I am a keen runner and enjoy exploring the many trails in and around Ōtepoti Dunedin.
